I was in a bit of shock when I heard that Cedar Fair has sold Great America and the neighboring Gilroy Gardens to real estate investment group, JMA Ventures, costing at a total of $70 million for both parks. JMA mostly owns hotels, ski resorts, and restraints in California, these two with be there first amusement parks. One can only hope that this means a bright future for CGA, but you never know, look at what the new management at Indiana Beach did to the place. But we can just keep our fingers crossed!
